An avid peanut butter fan and passionate horse rider, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Gina is a favorite amongst our littlest patients and always finds a way to put both kids and parents at ease. 

Gina Lattanzio received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and went on to obtain her master’s degree at the University of Connecticut. Before joining the Southington Pediatric Associates team, she worked as a NICU nurse at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital. Gina adores taking care of infants and toddlers and she’s the go-to for children with complex medical needs.

Here are a few things you might not know about Gina:

• She loves traveling to Iceland and has been three times

• She has been riding horses since she was three years old. 

• Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar

• She has a scar on her eardrums from three sets of ear tubes

Gina lives in Glastonbury with her husband Chris and they love spending their free time exploring the great outdoors.
